About the Founder
After over a decade working in the cross-border advice space, STEPS Wealth Management founder Emma Norton Selzer, started with a clear mission: to create an Australian-based financial advice firm that offers fair, transparent, and client-first guidance to people with UK pensions.

Having worked extensively with expats and returnees, Emma saw first-hand how many advice firms operate with a heavy overseas presence and outdated systems – often resulting in high fees, poor service, and little understanding of Australian clients’ needs. There had to be a better way.

STEPS Wealth Management was born from the belief that clients deserve a local, technology-forward partner who truly understands both the UK and Australian retirement systems, and can deliver smarter, more personalised strategies without the unnecessary complexity or cost.

The goal is simple: help clients make informed decisions, with confidence and clarity, every step of the way.

On a Personal Level
Emma is passionate about changing the face of financial advice in Australia. With women currently making up just 22% of financial advisers, we urgently need more representation, visibility, and leadership from women in this field. Through STEPS Wealth Management, Emma hopes to help shift the narrative and pave a more inclusive, supportive path for the next generation of female advisers.
